Oxygen transport is the major limiting factor for the success of aerobic bioremediation. In the 1980s the bioremediation industry focused on recirculation of groundwater and amending it with hydrogen peroxide. As concerns mounted about safety, the toxicity of peroxide and fouling of injection wells, consideration was given to air sparging due to its volatilization and biodegradation component. In 1994, it was recognized that oxygen sparging can enhance oxygen delivery/solubilization rates (less interference from nitrogen gas dissolution) while minimizing volatilization of compounds in the sparged medium (so you don’t need SVE).
While the Florida DEP does not provide brand name endorsements or performance certifications, it does determine product acceptability in the context of environmental regulations, safety and the protection of public health. These approval letters make it easier for Remediation Project Managers to specify Tersus products in site-specific Remedial Action Plans.

The SDS is designed to provide workers and emergency personnel with the proper procedures for handling or working with our products. An SDS provides information about a product's physical data, appearance, and health effects. The sheets describe how the products should be stored and disposed of. Spill clean-up procedures, first aid procedures, transportation requirements and other precautionary information are also addressed.
